Why does my coffee white specs slope? I have a Bunn coffee maker and I noticed that when I was circulating the hot water that there were white specs in the bottom of the pan. they do seem to float just sit at the bottom.
Sounds like calcium deposits and residues. Nothing to fear. The other person is the right vinegar to clean right out.
Before you brew more coffee, run a little vinegar in your coffee. That is how I clean my pot of coffee.
You probably have hard water that comes out of your tap. When hard water is boiled, white form specification in the water. You may need a water softener or filter "Brita water" (water filter but should work).
