I want to put my cleaning business to include other types of specialized cleaning. I think the best choice of upholstery and perhaps cleaning carpets. However, I would like to know the best mobile user equipment (truck not mounted), a friendly professional should use. Assistance would be greatly appreciated. Also want to know the best place to buy this equipment.

Do not start a business using a DC laptop as your main method of extraction. You hate your life after a week. First of all, most laptops have EXCLUDE power vacuum or heat sinks to clean a truckmount.
