Dough Hook

Dough HookWhat is the subject of a dough hook?

I have a recipe that says that I need to mix the dough using a mixer "dough". I was wondering, what on earth is a mess?

Can I use a dough hook in place? And what is the purpose of a dough hook?

Thank you very much, I do not really cook often! :)

A dough hook is more like the action of kneading and folding you would with your hands.
I think the best part of baking bread and things that require kneading is done with the hands on the dough and the sense of the changes it undergoes. A mixer dough should be the same as a dough hook.
I have been cooking at least once a week since I was seven years and am now sixties.

It is one of those little items she used most often to help make the homemade bread, it helps to mix the ingredients I was once an old mixer and really not fair if it returned to knead dough hand. I guess it will just be used occasionally.

dough hook is used to fold air into the dough so that it rises Niceley

Simulates kneading dough hook. If your recipe is one that would be kneaded by hand if so, then yes, you can use the dough hook. Otherwise, they may have simply used the wrong word and you want to use a mixer - type with two drummers.

Instead of just a whip, he puts both PASTE he beat and knead dough ALSO.
