Is it safe to use my GE microwave with glass outside the door broken? My granddaughter who is two, broke the glass on the outside of our six months old microwave GE. He did not break the glass inside, or the effect of the operation of the microwave.
Is it still put to use?
If it broke the thin perforated metal "net" which is usually fused into the glass, then no, it is not safe, microwaves to escape through the hole and cook everything in front of door
unlikely
I do not want it again.
If you do, stay away from the kitchen during operation.
There are places that can sell you a door replacement ... that would be your best bet.
