Hand Food Processor

I plan to make a chocolate peanut butter cupt as my gift to my friends, but he asked me to use a food processor and I did not have a hand mixer. I do not want to pass something to a food processor now that I'm putting more money I will not use it often. Butter epanut serve as my base so it needs to be a bit of sand. Is it possible for me to use for hand mixer instead of food processing?

I rarely use my food processor to make cakes or cookies or something like that as a hand mixer works equally well and is much easier to clean! If there are real nuts or chocolate chips in the recipe you just use the mix to end with a wooden spoon.
