Homemade Meatloaf

Homemade MeatloafDo you have a recipe for homemade meat loaf?

I want to try different varieties of meatloaf, but something original. I do not want anything too spicy (and I know some people like to put spices in the food warm). All recipe for meatloaf is acceptable, but please make it easy and simple.

Firstly, I am a vegetarian. Okay, I eat fish, but too bad! If I had to start eating meat again (which, after 15 years, it is unlikely), there are two places where I would start: Monte Cristo sandwich (frikkin divine - with mango chutney or honey!) And the meatloaf my mom to do.

In fact, it was late to enter our directory of family meals, and it was with the permission of Lipton soup mix.

I'm sure the recipe Alton Brown is fantastic. Have not tried, as Alton was probably still try to be a cameraman when I last ate meat, but if you want to try the Lipton (Dang that looks easy), see the link below. I am including a second link, which, according to a person who has lost the recipe Lipton is the first he / she is loved for. Good luck.

Oh, and stop eating meat nasty. Unless you like.

Bubby Turkey Meatloaf with Red Pepper Sauce

Recipe Summary
Difficulty: Easy
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Inactive Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Yield: 4-6 servings

Meatloaf:
2 pounds ground Turkey (preferably dark meat only)
2 eggs
3 oz tomato paste (half of a small box, reserving the rest for sauce)
1 teaspoon salt
1 / 8-1 / 4 c. teaspoon cayenne
1 / 2 cup plain bread crumbs
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, pressed
Red Pepper Sauce:
3 ounces tomato paste (from reserved 1 / 2 box)
1 small onion, coarsely chopped
1 clove garlic, peeled
1 small red pepper, seeded, cored and coarsely chopped
1 cup water
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
15 grinds black pepper

Meatloaf:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients for meatloaf and work together completely by hand until all ingredients are evenly distributed and mixture is smooth. Place meat mixture in a baking dish 13 by 9 inches and form a loaf about 11 inches long and 4 inches wide. It is important to train like this so that it cooks evenly throughout. The bread must be in the middle of the pan with room on both sides of the sauce to the pool.

Red Pepper Sauce:
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth. Cover the meatloaf with the sauce and let the sauce over pool around the meat. Cover pan with aluminum foil, but avoid contact with meat loaf, leaving at least a couple of inches of space between the top of the meatloaf and the foil. Bake for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake for 45 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes before cutting and serving.

Alton Brown has never led me wrong!

I just made meatloaf tonight. My mother and my youngest daughter as sloppy joes. I took a pound of ground beef, add a can of sloppy joe sauce, Italian seasoned bread crumbs, egg, 1 / 2 box of carrots (chopped) 1 / 2 box of potatoes (diced), 1 / 2 can of whole corn Kernal. Mix and cook.

I sent this recipe.
