Kitchenaid 5 Quart Stand Mixer

Kitchenaid 5 Quart Stand MixerKitchenAid Professional 5 Mixer 5 Quart + ** OR ** KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer 5 Quart?

Hello,

I'm considering the purchase of a KitchenAid stand mixer. On Amazon.com the two mixers caught my attention: Professional 5 liter and Craftsman 5 quarts.

Professional fees of $ 299 and costs $ 249 Artisan. Cost issue is really not for me. I heard a lot of good things about the craft and it seems that they released the most popular. I have not really heard much about the professional. What mixer should I get? Please list the advantages / disadvantages if you know any!

Thank you

The Pro has a slightly more powerful engine. Truly Artisan is usually more than enough for most home kitchens. I bought the Pro for my wife. The largest bowl (you can use on the Artisan)
is useful for us. Also preferred the bowl lifting the head tilt. You can usually find artisans for less than what you said in the shelters or Wal Mart and Target.

Both mixers are great, but check the Watts and the number of attachments are available for everyone. If you have no need for many accessories, go with the lower price.

The more wattage the better. And the general rule with mixers KA is the average cost is $ 1.00 for each watt. Thus, a mixer 450 watts, the retail is normally $ 450.00.

The professional 600 series would be my choice.

They are great mixers
