Kitchenaid Mixer Canada

I just got a KitchenAid stand mixer from my grandfather as a wedding gift early. I am very happy to have him, but after my marriage, I will be moving from Manitoba, Canada to Florida and then driving with my husband from Florida to Vegas. What is a good way to bring him with me? Should I send separately once we're settled in Las Vegas, or to investigate the cost to bring him with me on the plane? Any help is greatly appreciated:)
