Laminate Wood Flooring

Laminate Wood FlooringInstalling a gas fire above the floor of wood laminate?

We want to install a gas fireplace in our lounge. The floor is wood laminate floors and we fear that the heat unit chain, discolor or damage the floor, directly in front of the fireplace or anywhere in the room. Does anyone have experience with this? The manufacturer says shouldn't laminate flooring "be exposed to heat above 84 degrees, which obviously should exceed the chimney. Please give us advice or share your experience. Thank you.

Most gas fireplaces can be installed directly on a combustible floor, including wood laminate. Each model has its own particular requirements for a "home" in front of the camera so be sure and read the manual for more details. If you want to go the extra mile to go ahead and set the camera on top of some concrete board (or Hardy Backer Durorock) available at your local home improvement store.

Good luck!

I built my own home once the main thing is the focus, it will protect your floors, I used the slate of South Africa and he seemed really good.
