I just thought it was, but we have another mother said the same thing happening to him. Just five hours after eating a slice of pizza, amounts to sugar Gina. What is unusual about the pizza? Here is my understanding. The high fat content causes the meal to be digested slowly. So you do not see the full effect of carbohydrates than later.

If I were to try to give me the exact amount of insulin for pizza when I ate, it would imply a low altitude, then a summit. It causes low because insulin starts working before the pizza begins to increase my blood sugar (due to delay the process of fat). Then, once you've hit a low of your body responds by trying to raise your blood sugar. It does this by increasing your insulin resistance by releasing hormones and release the sugar it has stored.

So the solution for me is to delay when I take my insulin or pending or using an advanced feature of a pump as a combo bolus.

The dough is really fat and fatty foods cause the carburetor to be absorbed more slowly. Pasta and Italian food, Chinese cuisine, and rich breads and cakes have the same effect. Are you a pump? When I eat pizza, I set mine to give me a bowl of dual wavelength giving me 70% of the insulin and now the remaining 30% over the next 4 hours. It took some trial and error to arrive at this formula, but it works very well for me.

There are too many carbs in pizza crust. It will increase blood glucose. White bread and white flour have a lot of carbohydrates. I can not eat it all. We can my daughter who is type 1.

hmmm idk, but I only have a problem with it if I run or go to the gym ...
