Moka Espresso

Moka EspressoHow do I use a stove top espresso mocha pot /?

I want to buy a stove top espresso mocha pot / but I am very ignorant of them. I would like to bring to 4 cups each time. What a shot - can you add water or milk for herself and 2 cups you buy a size 4 cup? Please tell me everything.

If you mean the little coffee pot traditionally used in Italy called "machinetta" (which actually means small machine). It has three distinct parts and they all screwed. You must first unscrew the bottom of the pan, add enough water to reach below the steam valve. Then place the small filter basket party / pot inside and put in or Lavazza espresso coffee brands like Illy and stabilizing. Then screw the top on the pot, place the pot on a burner over high heat and wait for it to produce enough heat that will literally force water up into the filter basket and make an espresso in the top of the pot. You can see the steam coming out of the valve and hear the rise in the espresso pot.

Machinette pots are used by all the Italians in their homes as the primary coffee. In Italy, there is no such thing as a drip coffee maker, as we have here in the United States. You can buy a machinetta in two materials, aluminum and stainless steel. I'd say stainless steel, as it will not leach metals into the coffee pot with aging. The variety of aluminum is much cheaper, about $ 10, compared to stainless steel model is $ 50 or more.

You can buy different sizes of pots, some are two shots of espresso, while others can accommodate up to 6 shots. You can check the box comes the pot. Often, it is written in Italian, if the search for the word ..... tazz, the cup means. So if it reads 4 tazz, this means that he plans to espresso. You can find a store machinetta kitchen specialty or a market of more global cost.

To make a traditional Italian single shot of espresso, just put a small amount in a cup espresso, because they are very small. You can find these cups in department stores like Macy's or a specialty food store or maybe even somewhere like Target.

If you want to make a machiatto, you just add a little milk to start this plan. Machiatto means identified in Italian, the splash of milk. If you want to make a caffe latte con (coffee with milk), you can put a value of 2 shots of espresso in a normal cup, then add a little milk for him. This is what the Italians often drink in the morning, along eating toast with Nutella.

Incidentally, the Italians never drink coffee of any kind after the late morning / afternoon. They never think of drinking coffee in the evening. Much too late. I hope this helps!
