Sirena Espresso Machine

I am a barista at Starbucks, and I bought the Starbucks Sirena machine for use at home. So far, it seems, but I started to froth milk for use in a latte, and it took forever! Maybe because it was the first time using steam, as it seemed faster to get the more I've used. Does anyone have this machine and how long it will take you to steam milk to about 160?

It should not take more than 2 minutes. If you think something might be wrong with her, she should have come with a warranty. Talk to colleagues and / or call the company directly and ask them. There should be a number of guidelines for the machine.

The machines you use at work are much stronger and are designed to be very fast (the speed of service).

Do not compare your steam at work on the steam you do at home! :) I bet it's fine, you're just used to it really fast!
