Toastmaster Products

Toastmaster ProductsWhat should I use to clean the outside of a vintage toaster? Ask?

I just bought a toaster Toastmaster 1936. It is in perfect condition but the chrome exterior has a few fingerprints on what should be cleaned. What product can I use safely? Please reply with an experience that made her real with this type of item - no experience - could not be too easily damaged.

I would use a soft cotton 100%, as a washcloth or old towel and Windex. A microfiber cloth with water should work too. You may need to use a little elbow grease with the other method, and polishing the surface and dry right away. I need not tell you to spray Windex on the canvas, not the toaster, I do? Chrome should not be damaged as it is in good condition. But do not use a paper towel, just to be on the safe side. Paper can scratch delicate surfaces, because after all, is primarily of wood fibers. It should not scratch chrome, but better safe than sorry with an article like this.

I have a 1940 Toast-o-later. (Danger's largest fire ever made.) He worked to clean chrome, chrome case I spray the outside with a removable oven cleaner. I had polished on a wheel a few years ago. All burnt soil and / or fingerprints are immediately with oven cleaner and does not harm the chrome. Thoroughly dry before reassembling. Use naval jelly on all rust.
