Villaware Waffle Iron

I want to make waffles thin as my grandmother used to do in Germany. She rolled and put jelly or something else inside. I do not want to make waffles thick American style. Before I buy the Waffler heart, I just wanted to make sure that these really thin thin wafers. Here's a picture:
