Wolfgang Puck Bread Maker

Wolfgang Puck Bread MakerUse your creativity and enjoy delicious Italian panini sandwiches

Here's what I like about panini sandwiches - they are delicious, nutritious and you have to use your creativity in the kitchen. A panini sandwich meal is certainly not complicated. Essentially, it's a grilled cheese sandwich, but much more fun. The sandwich originated in Italy and you can use all sorts of ingredients to put together. You only need two pieces of bread and some oversized spread butter on both sides. Think about what you can do to make it different from your regular grilled cheese old. What about whole wheat bread, rye or sourdough. You can even try garlic or herb butter to add even more flavor.

But before you throw bread in the skillet, you will need to reflect on the ingredients you use. Instead of good old cheese slices, using slices of provolone, mozzarella, cheddar or Havarti. Then add the meat. You can use chicken, ham, turkey or roast beef. You can even use the tuna if you want, but you'll probably want to mix it with mayonnaise to glue it together inside the sandwich. Then, choose your vegetables. I like sliced tomatoes in my sandwiches, but you can add cucumber, carrots, olives or whatever you prefer. You can put a fried egg on your sandwich if you're not too concerned about the fat content. In fact, it is very popular in Australia to put a fried egg in a sandwich with all the other ingredients. You can also add a few leaves of fresh herbs like mint or cilantro.

Then assemble your sandwiches first putting a slice of cheese on one slice of bread, then meat and vegetables, another slice of cheese (sticks so everything together) and another slice of bread. Then, put it in a greased pan or panini machine. If all you have is a skillet, use a spatula to gently lift one side when you think it might be golden when it is put under your spatula and your fingers on top of the sandwich to turn gently in the pan on. If you have a panini machine - all the better. Your sandwich will cook faster and you'll be able to tell just by looking at the top of it he is ready. The fact is that a sandwich is very simple to do if you allow yourself to be creative. If you have big pieces of bread, panini to a highly satisfactory meal for dinner if you're too tired to make a full meal after a long day of work.
