I have very basic requirements for a coffee machine. It should be decent and keep hot coffee warm. I have no clock or a programmable timer and will probably never use. This replaces a thermal carafe Melitta makes coffee warm, cold in one hour. No need to run the microwave to reheat coffee for me. I have not had a problem with filters # 4 generic label. I also use filters bought by mistake # 2 work fine for the production of small pots.

This Brewer is quick to brew and the coffee is really hot. Just the way I like it.
Excellent coffee

After a month of daily service, we are very pleased with this coffee - coffee is delicious and keeps you warm the carafe for hours (if not all drunk right now.) Slow minor to use is that it is supposed to filter # 4, but the offer we have (Trader Joe's) should be cut in order to adapt, but they were very good in our previous Krups machine. I recommend this coffeemaker.
Great coffee, with minor reservations

I spent a long time reading reviews here and elsewhere before buying this coffee maker. Keep in mind, no coffee maker under $ 100 will be perfect. You will always find complaints but overall, I like this coffeemaker.

Advantages
* It is good coffee quickly. What has replaced a Krups literally just spent and I think we made a good choice for a brewer daily. We have had for over six months now and it is considered good for everyday use. The coffee is delicious and stays warm longer than our Krups. I do not like coffee and hot blindly I understand that purists expect at a given temperature on the brew. I'm not anal enough to collect the equipment to check temperature regularly, but for a $ 100 coffee machine I do not expect the best that I could get from a commercial aircraft. There is a strong coffee.
* Speed. I would rate this is as standard for the speed of stirring, not too slow, too fast.
* Easy to clean. The jug, a bucket and the unit are easy to maintain. The bucket is slightly shorter than the standard # 4 paper filters, but they can still fine. If you want filters to the European meeting so that the fit is perfect, go ahead, but we do not bother .. and everything works great
